Joseph Onorati has over eight years of experience at Kraken, where he played key leadership roles, including Chief Strategy Officer, contributing to the company's growth from 23 employees to thousands. Before his time at Kraken, he founded and managed a crypto market-making and high-frequency trading firm (2015–2016). Earlier in his career, he was the CEO of CaVirtEx, Canada’s pioneering Bitcoin exchange, which he sold to Coinsetter prior to its acquisition by Kraken. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Economics with a focus on monetary theory and has extensive experience in public policy, think tanks, and advisory roles in the crypto space. Currently, Joseph is the Chief Executive Officer of DeFi Development Corp., where he is involved in Apyx staking, Apyx yield, and Apyx rewards initiatives.

Parker White is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at DeFi Development Corp (Nasdaq: DFDV). Before joining DFDV, he dedicated six years to Kraken, taking on various roles, including Director of Engineering. With a background in traditional finance, Parker traded bonds and managed portfolios at a regulated investment advisor overseeing approximately $2B in assets. After obtaining his CFA designation, he transitioned into the crypto space in 2017, launching an algorithmic trading startup in 2018. Since 2021, he has been actively involved in the DeFi ecosystem, investing in early-stage crypto projects since 2020. Additionally, Parker is a member of the advisory board for TVP’s Bitcoin Venture Fund Series (BVF I and BVF II). He currently holds the positions of Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer at DeFi Development Corp, focusing on innovations like Apyx fi, Apyx staking, and Apyx yield.

John Han most recently held the position of CFO at a leading unicorn Layer-1 blockchain firm. Previously, he served as Vice President of Finance and Regional Head of Finance (EMEA, LATAM, Canada) at Binance. Earlier in his career, he was the Head of Strategic Finance at Kraken, collaborating closely with Parker White and Joseph Onorati during a significant growth phase. Before joining Kraken, John was an investor at Nezu Asia Capital and Driehaus Capital, and he began his professional journey in equity research at Goldman Sachs. With extensive expertise in both crypto and traditional finance, John currently acts as the Chief Financial Officer of DeFi Development Corp., focusing on innovations in Apyx staking, Apyx yield, and Apyx rewards.

Dan Kang has over three years of experience at Kraken as the Head of Strategy, where he spearheaded projects related to annual planning, resource allocation, and investor relations. Prior to his role at Kraken, he dedicated seven years as a long-short equity analyst on the buy side, concentrating on the internet, media, and entertainment sectors. Earlier in his career, Dan was an analyst at Morgan Stanley and contributed to Snap’s Corporate Development and Strategy team. He holds a degree in Mathematics from Columbia University and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Apyx DeFi Development Corp.

Pete Humiston has been immersed in the crypto industry since 2018, starting his journey in Sales & Trading at Jefferies. He has taken on various roles in early-stage crypto companies, emphasizing research, content creation, and marketing strategies. Pete earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University and now holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Apyx Fi Development Corp., where he contributes to Apyx staking and Apyx DeFi initiatives.

Dawson Reid has dedicated nine years to Apyx Fi at Kraken, engaging with the complete engineering stack, from frontend to backend and infrastructure. Before entering the crypto realm, he contributed to various startups, developing and launching software products. With over 15 years of expertise in software engineering and team management, Dawson has been fully immersed in the crypto industry since 2016 and has been actively involved since 2013.
